Castello Banfi
is
one of the
largest primer vineyards in Tuscany, it is located
11 km east of
Montalcino, in
Sant Angelo Scalo.
In addition to vineyard tours there are two excellent
restaurants, a medieval castle, a hotel and a glass
museum. |

Castello di Brolio
is one
of the most historic castle in Italy, it covers over
1200 hectares and approximately 240 are devoted to wine
vineyards and olive groves. Located only a short
distance from Gaiole in Chianti (SS408 west for 8 km ,
then left on ss403 for 5 km). In addition to vineyard
tours and visiting the castle's gardens, there is an
excellent restaurant, and numerous hiking trails.
